NokiaEdu recommendations for the instructors

Please see message from Nokia below and act accordingly.

  • The starting time of the sessions should be carefully observed. The
instructor has the duty of connecting at least a few minutes before start
    of the vILT.

[If needed, internet can be used to doublecheck the time zone of the target
audience vs, time zone of the instructor. This can be useful in case of
summer/winter time changes]

  • All instructors, but especially the newer ones, should be well familiarized
with the PTLS processes, especially those linked to delivery. It is the
responsibility of the SPOC to make sure that the processes are read,
    understood and applied

  • In relation with the above, the “paperwork” should be attentively filled
out (D1R, EoCR, Presence Sheet); the participants should be reminded to
fill in the evaluation sheets (via the known methods).

We do encourage making schemes and additional drawings during trainings
(both in cILT and vILT environments), but for vILTs a drawing pad is highly
recommended (similar to what some of the instructors already use).

  • In case of any disruptions (power or internet cuts, WebEx server
connectivity issues) should be immediately reported by any means to the
Event Coordinator and Delivery Manager; so that participants are
    properly informed about the disruption.
The email-address for emergency for vILT deliveries is: Support,
NokiaEDU VILT (Nokia – Global) nokiaedu_vilt.support@nokia.com
  • Planned energy or internet cuts should be immediately reported to the
SPOC and to the Delivery Manager; a replacement solution should be
    searched immediately.
  • Instructions on raising CARs and IORs will be sent in a separate
    communication.
